sorry!
Sorry folks, I haven't been keeping up to date with my blog and after all, that's what a blog's for, so I better pull my socks up a bit, otherwise I'll lose you to some other singer and we can't have that now, can we? Like john Stewart Mill I'm a great favourite of the long sentence.! So what's my news? Well the recordings are on hold until Mick's available again.
Earlier this week I was interviewed for the Trawler. It's a local"serious" magazine with great editorial and reviews, published by members of the local literary scene and i was very pleased to do it.I'll be putting the interview on the web somewhere for you to read at a further date.I was asked to provide some quotes and cuttings for reference here's my favourite," her voice is like the sound of a lonely seabird echoing across an industrial estuary"...mmmm...interesting!
love clairexxx back soon!

Hello Claire,
It's funny, one can spend lots of time online and suddenly you can go days, or longer, without posting a thing, not even emails. That ol' devil called "Real Life" interrupts. LOL.
How does an interruption to the recording session affect the creative process? Or does it give you a chance to recharge the artistic batteries?
I'll be interested in seeing that interview when you post it.
That's strange I have posted a comment but it's not showing?
Hello Jeff, these days I grab recording sessions when I can. Before I had my daughters my life just revolved around me and my guitar but that all changed when my first daughter was born. Now it's much more full and music takes it's rightful place as another way to heaven.Sometimes it's heavenly, like when I hear something gorgeous and unexpected on the radio(3 usually) othertimes it's hard work trying to get the vocals just right.
You read it all?
