christine's freak out!
Hello everyone,I thought I ought to mention Christine because I know some of you have had e-mails from her saying what a terrible person I am!I have tried to ignore her but I just want to put the record straight.I have constantly told Christine how grateful I was for her help these past few years but it came to the point where I wanted to have control over the website myself.Unfortunately she completely freaked out about the loss of power over that part of my life. At least, that's the only thing I can put it down to. As you can imagine I was so upset about what she did( taking down my website and posting a statement about me) and that she had the cheek to write to people in my mailing list that she didn't even know .I hope she gets back some equilibrium.I want you to know that even though she offered to do the site for free and refused any offers of money, I sent her money anyway. Rest assured,I will be taking legal advice about this and other matters incase she continues to harass me and indeed yourselves!

Wow, I last listened to my copy of your October lp when I was in high school in NJ. I just logged on to search to see if it exists in cd format, new or used, and came across your blog. So far, all I've found are british sites selling it.. maybe I'll try gemm....

A little late in posting to this one (hey, I'm in the middle of moving - my life is one disorganized mess at the moment) - but, it sounds like you've experienced the common occurrance of a fan who has gotten "too close," has identified herself with the artist to the point of confusion.
Christine - I'm sure everyone has appreciated your hard work, but you have to remember - without Ms. Hamill you'd have not had said website.
CLAIRE is the artist, and has by all imaginable rights control over her own website. We the customer have the right to make (hopefully suitable) comments/critiques of the product we purchase from "her" (via the record company) but none of us have the right to claim control over her bio / personal statements / personal photos, et al.
Put that angry energy into something constructive rather than slogging someone you once considered a good friend who has done you no personal injury.
Life's short enough, eh?
