I visited your site because many years ago I spotted some penquins walking around on an iceberg in "Art of Landscape". It gave the name of the track as "Someday we will all be together". It wasn't until a few years later I heard a version with words which explained that title! It's so wonderful and relaxing to listen to.

My question is: did you write the lyrics and, if so, what inspired you? I've been searching around trying to find the lyrics, but the usual sites for lyrics don't have them.

Hello Frank yes i wrote the lyrics but i didn't write the wonderful music. That was written by dear old Pachebel.I think you'd be hard pushed to find any of my lyrics in cyberspace but if you give me a few days I'll put the lyrics for someday up in the blog for you.

My inspiration for the song is the hope that one day the world will be one great mushy love-ball.In my heart i believe that we all just want a home, a good heart to love and be loved by, warmth, to be safe, with friends and family around us to make us laugh and when we look up to the sky, to remember our loved ones that have gone before and know that we are part of them and that one day we'll all be together.

Thank you Claire, I look forward to reading the words soon. I do very much agree with the sentiments expressed in the song and I'm pleased you were inspired to write it.

I'm glad to hear of your interest in helping the people in Guatamala. I only regret that Hastings is a little far away for an evening on 18 November, but best wishes for a successful night. I have been interested in South America (the forgotten continent) for a long time and was fortunate enough to visit in 2003. If you ever get a chance see Sean Langan's "Travels of a Gringo" which exactly coincides with what I saw (description here http://www.channel4.com/life/microsites/T/travels_of_a_gringo/index.html).

I would like to go back, but sadly my best friend living there died shortly after I visited. Now I have a cemetery to visit.
